Orange County ABC ... Mission Statement ...

The Orange County ABC Board is an independent political subdivision of the State of North Carolina that purchases, distributes, controls and sells spirituous beverages to the eligible citizens and visitors in this county. We do this consistent with the applicable laws of North Carolina and rules of the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission.

Our united goal is to achieve a delicate balance in four important areas: (1) providing the highest level of customer service, (2) maintaining a dedicated workforce, (3) contributing net profits to designated Orange County systems, such as education/rehabilitation, law enforcement and the general fund and (4) maintaining sufficent working capital to provide for expansion and improvements.

The Orange County ABC Board, a five member board appointed by the Orange County Commissioners, meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 8:30AM in the board room of the Orange County ABC Administrative Office located at 122 Highway 70 East in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
